The Cosmopolitan Boys Winter College Showcase is a tryout based program open to high school-aged (2022 & 2023 graduation year) male recruit soccer players. The program provides an opportunity to become better prepared for the college athletic recruiting process and presenting their talents in front of college coaches. The Winter Showcase will kick-off with its first open tryout on Monday, November 15, 2021, at College Point Fields (Queens).

If selected, the player will participate in a 11v11 showcase matches where college coaches will be in attendance and matches would be filmed for recruiting purposes.

How It Works

Tryout Stage

Two stage tryout selection process. Stage 1 open to all players, while Stage 2 will be by invite only

11 v 11 Matches

If selected, players will compete in 11v11 matches hosted with their assigned coach and team members

Showcase League

Each team will compete in a one full-sided match in order to showcase their talents in front of college coaches.

AGS staff will make themselves available to meet with player & their family to discuss the college recruiting process

Proactive Guidance

Will provide guidance with index schools and tasks that need to be done throughout showcase process

Video Footage

Each player will receive showcase game footage for recruiting purposes and to share with college coaches

Field Location: College Point Fields - Turf Field // Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pm (Open to all players)
